It’s time to book your flight!!

Dear friends and family 😀

It’s time to book your flight to Mexico!! The prices have dropped down at 550 Euro to Mexico City and at 620 Euro to Guadalajara. The cheapest company for the moment is Air France.

You can have a look at the following websites:

Mexico: internal flights

To avoid long bus rides you can of course take the plane. Some domestic airlines offer very decent prices. Going by air would not be a bad idea if you would want to travel to Central Mexico (Chiapas) or to the Southern Caribean or Pacific coast (Cancún, Acapulco or Merida.)

Mexico: bus service

Traveling by bus is definitely one of the best and cheapest ways of traveling in Mexico. Even the luxury buses, with private TV, wireless internet, big seats that fully recline and air-conditioning are very affordable. To give you an example, a six hour ride in one of these luxury buses (Mexico City-Guadalajara) would cost you 20 Euro. If you would go by air it could easily cost five times that amount.

You can reserve your bus on the internet or at the bus station.

Period;

The most appropriate period to book a flight to Mexico for July seems to me to be the month of January. The prices seem the lowest then.

Itineraries;

There are several different ways to travel to Guadalajara;

The first one is to fly to Mexico City, the capital of Mexico. This incredible city is definitely worth seeing with its incredible diversity and culture. Once you’ve visited the capital of Mexico you could easily travel to Guadalajara by bus. In between Mexico City and Guadalajara you’ve two beautiful little cities worth seeing, named San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato.

If you plan to go to Guadalajra in one bus ride it will take you six hours.

If on the other hand you plan stopping by in San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato it will be three hours fromMexico City and another three hours to get to Guadalajara.

The bus service in Mexico is very comfortable and cheap so don’t hesitate!

The second possibility is to fly to Puerto Vallarta a little city on the Pacific Coast of Mexico from which a two hour bus trip will take you to Guadalajara. Continental Airlines offers very cheap flights to Puerto Vallarta and a few days at the beach before coming to the wedding wouldn’t harm anybody.

The third possibility is to fly directly to Guadalajara, even though it could be a little more expensive.
